The Patchwork Memorials Fallen Heroes Foundation was created by the Timothy and Christopher Miles, also the founders of PatchworkMemorials.com, a manufacturer and distributor of heirloom quality memorial products.  We believe that, as Americans, we cannot do enough to pay tribute to the families of our Fallen Heroes, the men and women of the United States Military who have died in combat, defending our country and our way of life.

Since the beginning of this great country, families have been comforted and sustained during a time of loss by receiving a memorial quilt, often made by caring friends and neighbors. We feel blessed to have developed a process to create these fine quilts in sufficient numbers to aspire to launch this Foundation in order to deliver a customized and personalized quilt to the family of each Fallen Hero who has died since the 9/11 attack on America.

The Patchwork Memorials Fallen Heroes Foundation is a Minnesota not-for-profit corporation and has been granted tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.

Our Directors

Timothy Miles - Timothy brings his 40 years experience as a business consultant and entrepreneur to the Foundation in his role as Executive Director. It was his life long passion for causes and desire to honor our military heroes that inspired the formation of the Foundation. Timothy is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Foundation. The father of three grown daughters and the grandfather to 5 (with 2 more on the way) and a foster parent to numerous others, Timothy lives with his wife MaryEllen, in St Cloud, MN.

MaryEllen Miles - As a Director for the Foundation, MaryEllen brings her experience as a paralegal and a Guardian Ad Litem for foster children to the Foundation as its Secretary and in providing support to recipient families during the process of making their quilt. The mother of one daughter, an expectant grandmother of twins and a foster mom to numerous others, MaryEllen lives in St Cloud, MN with her husband Timothy.

Timothy Shannon - Tim is the President and CEO of Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure, a publicly traded company that provides the public and corporations with a NASCAR style driving experience at major tracks throughout America.  He brings a wealth of management and marketing experience along with a vast network to the Foundation.

Debbie Shannon -  With extensive corporate experience with large corporations such as Disney added to her ongoing entrepreneurial commitment to arts and crafts, Debbie brings a valued perspective to the Foundation. Debbie and Tim have two school age children.
